Nicole Rankin is a behavioural and implementation scientist with a strong national reputation. As a Senior Research Fellow at Cancer Council NSW in lung cancer, and at Sydney Catalyst Translational Cancer Research Centre (University of Sydney), she is leading innovative approaches to improving outcomes for people with lung cancer. She currently leads or contributes to lung cancer research at national and international levels to implement evidence into practice, building interdisciplinary research collaborations, and developing and testing interventions in early lung cancer diagnosis. She is a fellow in an international mentoring program in implementation science at Washington University in St Louis. She has significant experience in psycho-oncology, qualitative research, clinical practice guideline development and the translation of evidence into policy.
