Keith Cox
Keith is the Oncology/ Chemotherapy Nurse Practitioner at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse at RPA, Sydney. He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the 2007 Queen’s Birthday honours list for his services to Cancer Nursing, his work with youth and his volunteer work. Keith has over 34 years experience in Cancer Nursing, specialising in the area of chemotherapy. He has been involved in Cancer education and training in undergraduate and post graduate levels, has also conducted Oncology Courses both in PNG and Nepal and has organized a program in Cancer for Japanese Nurses.
He is board member of the NSW Cancer Institute, Board member of the Biaggio Signorelli Foundation for Research into Mesothelioma.
Keith is an Accreditation assessor for the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC).
Keith has had a wide range of research experience and numerous publications. He is involved with a number of research studies in the areas of chemotherapy, their side effects and symptom management of patients with malignant ascites.
