Craig Gedye
Dr Craig Gedye BSc(Hons) MBChB FRACP PhD is a physician/scientist, dual trained as a medical oncologist and as a basic science researcher. He looks after patients with melanoma, brain and genitourinary cancers (kidney, prostate, testis, bladder) at the Calvary Mater Newcastle, and translational and basic cancer research at the Hunter Medical Research Institute, University of Newcastle.
He is the Kidney Cancer Subcommittee Chair for ANZUP Cancer Trials Group, and leading clinical trials in cancer immunotherapy. His translational research focus is on cancer complexity and heterogeneity, examining the basis of cellular differentiation in renal cell carcinoma.
