Marita Reed
Marita is currently the Program Manager, Quality and Cancer Outcomes for the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria. Applying her clinical background, for the last 10 years Marita has been working as a Redesign Project Manager in a broad range of state and national health priorities. Critical to driving system change has been working in partnership with healthcare providers when designing/implementing/ quality improvement strategies. Essential to any success has been the belief; solution design initiatives must be co-designed with consumers, both patients and clinicians. Adopting a coordinated stepped approach, Marita is leading the implementation of Optimal Care Pathways across Victoria with a focus on how a positive impact on the patient experience and outcome can be demonstrated.
